Doula Services

Pregnancy

• Free Initial Consultation, a "get to know you" kind of session to answer your questions, share about my services and to see if we are a good fit.

 

• 1-2 Prenatal Meetings (typically at your home, around 32-36 weeks) to discuss comfort measures, and your priorities for birth.

 

• Assistance putting your birth preferences into words, if you are interested in a document for your birth team ( I can provide templates and evidence-based guidance)

 

• Unlimited encouragement and support via text, phone, and email 24/7

 

• On-call beginning at 38 weeks (earlier, if twins)

• Back-up doula arranged for added reassurance

Birth

 

• Continuous support beginning at your home, birth center, or hospital, whichever you prefer

 

• Non-judgemental guidance for the birth YOU want.

 

• Advice on non-medical comfort measures

 

• Assistance with gathering information from care providers so you can make well-informed decisions

 

• Support, guidance and reassurance for your partner

 

• I will take notes during your labor, and later create a document of your birth story for you to keep.

 

• Photography (if desired)

 

• 1-2 hours of post partum care once your baby arrives to ensure you are comfortable, answer any questions, help with initial breastfeeding (if desired), promote skin-to-skin and bonding with your baby
